The Peartree is an exclusive venue for your celebration: family get-togethers, anniversaries, stork parties and children’s parties.
We have a beautiful seating section on the under-roof extensive patio as well as a sunken garden. The use of a room alongside the patio is included for those occasions when it is too cold to be outdoors for any length of time. There is also a small kiosk kitchen with a fridge, microwave and ice-maker included in the venue hire package.
There is off-street parking for 40 cars on site.
Seating for a maximum of 100 people (adults & children). The hire of the venue is R5 500 for a full day (09h00 – 16h00) or R2 900 for half day (08h30 – 12h00 or 13h30 – 17h00) with a surcharge of R500 for Sundays or public holidays irrespective of the number of hours booked. Tables, chairs, umbrellas (x2) and the services of one cleaner is included.
These times include all set-up and breakdown times i.e., the entire rentable time allotment is indicated as above. R1 000.00 per hour is charged if these times are exceeded. Prices ex VAT.
You can also choose from one of the following options:
OPTION 1:
We will quote on providing tea, coffee, bottled water, cold drinks and juices, together with cups, saucers, teaspoons, glasses, jugs, ice, ice buckets (x2) and urn.
OPTION 2:
For children’s parties, the use of a trampoline, jumping castle, sandpit and Wendy hut is charged at R250 (half day) and R500 (full day), irrespective if all or some of these items are required.

Hire of crockery and cutlery: 25 people or part thereof – R300 ex VAT
50 people or part thereof – R500 ex VAT
75 people or part thereof – R650 ex VAT
100 people or part thereof – R800 ex VAT
Hire of glasses (limited selection) : 25 people or part thereof – R300 ex VAT
50 people or part thereof – R500 ex VAT
75 people or part thereof – R650 ex VAT

Hire of tablecloths (limited selection): R30 per tablecloth
Breakage deposit (refundable): R1000.00 ex vat.
Time over-run deposit (refundable): R1000.00 ex vat.
